How do we think the might Anvils will get on this season?
Who are favourites for promotion?
Who do we think will have a shocker?

Where will we finish this season, a tough call this one starting out with a 'blank canvas'as we will, one can envisage another tough season made even tougher with the addition of two further clubs, one would therefore think of midtable as a possible.
At least we wont be going into the season with a fanfare of trumpets and the beating of drums plus cries of 'playoffs here we come'as was the case last season, a more circumspect opening would be more to the point.
As to the favourites name any one of half a dozen, from Guernsey, Folkestone, Hythe, Leatherhead, Horsham and newcomers Peacehaven who have bought well this season, now let me think 'who also bought well last season'?
Finally a decent run in one of the national cup competitions would not go amiss.

The cup runs are a must for the club this year. I was really dissapointed when we went out of the cups early on as im sure the club was to lose out on the needed finances that come with a decent cup run. I think the first priority has to be safety, then re assess when we are there!

cant wait for the new season as were going to get promotion. simon wormull is probably the best young manager in sussex and played at spurs so i can see us getting some of their reserve players. a friend watched lewes play last season and said they play like barcelona so i hope our pitch is better next season but even if we can play a little bit like barcelona then we will beat teams easy. someone told me nick brown works for chelsea so theres going to be some young chelsea players who aint getting games who he could speak with and get to play for us for nothing. steve robinson could easily play league football still so i cant see us letting in many. dont know about the new keeper kiron thorpe but with steve robinson and chris breach around no strikers in our league will even get a chance to shoot. will simon wormull play next year as hes a big bloke but will probably score loads for us as hes played for spurs in the prem league. cant wait to hear about some more signings. bet we will get some more lewes players so we will be better than them next season. we will go up and they will go down i bet. cant wait to meet nick brown and simon wormull and alan kenworthy.

Steven D, applaud your confidence for the forthcoming season indeed i hope your right in your assertions, but putting aside your rose coloured specs, i would suggest that the majority of readers might not quite share your enthusiasm of a job already done. Indeed myself i find the older i get, the more cynical i become!
